Neon Highlighters (thin) - Any colors are wonderful - we use these in reading groups.
Gel Pens (plain and/or glitter style) - I allow the kiddos to use these to highlight and I also use them to praise their work!
Post-it Notes- any color (unlimited supply - we use them constantly - all year long in reading)
Fun stickers - Our cast LOVES these on their daily folders AND papers! We also tell "Sticker stories" during our writing time.
Toys for our Treasure Box - The kiddos get to visit the Treasure Box when they are chosen as a "Mystery Walker" or their blue ticket is drawn on "Blues Day Tuesday."
Want to get rid of ANY old picture or chapter books? When your child brings them in - they present them to the class and then get "book plates" which they will put in the front of each book signed with their name for all future cast members to see! Bring on the books!
